News: Craveworthy Adds Fresh Bros. Pizza to Pantry

Craveworthy partnered with New Summit Capital Advisors earlier this month to create a joint venture, Global Taste Brands, designed to introduce and franchise international quick-service restaurant and fast-casual concepts in the U.S.

Multibrand restaurant company and franchisor Craveworthy Brands on Monday, Nov.18, announced the acquisition of Fresh Brothers Pizza, a California-based pizza brand backed by family office Nolan Capital Inc.

The South Elgin, Ill.-based company didn't disclose the financial details of the deal.

Founded in 2008, Fresh Brothers is known for its handmade dough crafted daily, vine-ripened tomato sauce, pure cheese without additives and premium meats, Craveworthy said. The brand also offers options for vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free pizzas, and Fresh Brothers' menu also includes salads, baked wings, fresh knots and sliders.

Launched in 2022 by former Jimmy John's CEO Gregg Majewski, Craveworthy Brands is a fast-casual restaurant platform that owns concepts such as BD's Mongolian Grill LLC, Dirty Dough, Flat Top Grill, Genghis Grill, Krafted Burger Bar + Tap, Lucky Cat Poke Co., Pastizza Pizza & Pasta, Scramblin' Ed's, Sigri Indian BBQ, Soom Soom Mediterranean, Budlong Southern Chicken and Wing It On!

Craveworthy said it will guide Fresh Brothers' expansion from Southern California toacross the country.

Craveworthy acquired Untamed Brands , the parent company of fast-casual restaurant brands Taim Mediterranean Kitchen and Hot Chicken Takeover, in May. The company also acquired Sigri Indian BBQ the same month.

Fresh Brothers looked to Susan Miller and Sean Mirzabegian at Morgan Kingston Advisors LLC for financial advice.
